The 2024 National Convention brought together 1,113 registered delegates across all 14 provinces, with 852 delegates present in Onitsha.

The communiqué called clergy children to understand themselves as God’s children and mission partners. Members were encouraged to uphold the values handed down through their parents’ ministry and to participate actively in intercession, teaching and service.

Structure & membership

The convention affirmed the ACCA Constitution, inaugurated a caretaker Administrative Council, and asked dioceses and provinces without an active ACCA structure to establish one. It also resolved that the national conference should be held every two years.

Welfare — the Trust Fund

The ACCA Trust Fund was presented as a practical expression of shared responsibility for indigent clergy children. Active participation at diocesan, provincial or national level, supported by leadership recommendations, forms part of the eligibility.
