You are welcome to the 2026 Anglican Clergy Children Association (ACCA) National Convention, holding at the Cathedral Church of St Peter, Bishopcourt, Asaba, from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August 2026, under the theme "Rooted and Built Up in Him" (Colossians 2:7).
As Pastors' Children and also Ministers of God, delegates are asked to be humble and gentle, patient, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. The convention is holy unto the Lord, and everyone is asked to maintain holiness in conversation and conduct throughout — and afterward.
Here's the camp guide from the official convention brochure, so you know what to expect before you arrive:
- Registration. Make sure you have registered, and put your name tag on at all times — it's your security pass around the venue.
- Holiness in the camp and hostel. Alcoholic drinks and any appearance of the works of the flesh are not allowed anywhere within the camp and hostel.
- Distraction. Your cell phone is a good servant but a bad master — don't give in to all that it may demand during sessions.
- Dress code. Decency should be the watchword in our dressing as Clergy Children.
- Bible study. Everyone must participate fully — movements up and down during the Bible Study period are not permitted.
- Games. Everyone is expected to attend and participate in all the games and sports, and to network.
- Stay in place. Restrict your movements while the programme is running, and make the best use of every session.
- Be vigilant. Be sober, be in the spirit, and get anointed for the growth of your congregation back home.
- Respect others' privacy. Keep noise down in the hostel areas, especially during hours of rest, both day and night.
- Use the toilets. Please make proper use of the facilities and waste baskets provided.
- No buying and selling during sessions. Please save it for break time or the designated areas.
God will speak to us through His word and through His Ministers throughout this convention — come with an open heart, ready to receive.
