Give & Support
Standing with the indigent children of our clergy — through education, welfare and empowerment, across every province of the Church of Nigeria.
Our covenant of care
The Anglican Clergy Children Association was born of a simple, sacred conviction: that those who grew up in the parsonage — the sons and daughters of the men and women who gave their lives to the altar — should never walk alone. Our fathers and mothers poured themselves out for the Church, often at great personal cost, and their children carry both the privilege and the price of that calling. The ACCA Trust Fund is the practical, tangible expression of our promise to one another: that no clergy child of ability and character should be held back by want.
Enshrined in our Constitution, the Trust Fund is earmarked to help cater for the indigent Anglican clergy children across the country. It is not charity handed down from a distance; it is family standing with family. Where a bright child cannot pay school fees, where a young graduate has the vision but not the capital for a small business, where a household faces a season of hardship — the Fund exists to lift, to steady, and to send them forward with dignity.
We believe welfare is discipleship. To feed, to teach, to empower and to pray for one another is to live out the very Gospel our parents preached. Every naira given to this Fund is sown into a life, and through that life, into the future leadership of the Church.
What your giving does
Guided by our aims and objects, the Fund turns your generosity into lasting change.
Keeping promising clergy children in school and college, so that a lack of fees never becomes the end of a God-given dream.
Seed grants and start-up support for young members with enterprise — encouraging education, business, investment and savings as our Constitution directs.
A standing welfare scheme for members in genuine need, offering support and solidarity in difficult seasons.
Beneficiaries are mentored, trained and accompanied — the Fund invests in people, not just projects, so that help becomes lasting fruit.
In line with our vision — to raise clergy children grounded liturgically and spiritually to lead the Church into the next generation.
Every grant is verified, documented and monitored to ensure the money is well utilised and channelled for the purpose given.
Eligibility is not limited to financial commitment. Any Anglican clergy child who is active at the national, provincial or diocesan level — as attested by their provincial and diocesan leaders — may be considered.
And let this be clear: whether a member's father is late or retired has no bearing whatsoever on eligibility. Once a clergy child, always a member of this family.
The Fund is overseen by a Board of Trustees — including the Primate, the Dean, the Bishop Chaplain, the CON General Secretary and Registrar, and the National President — with appointed Fund Managers.
Applications are reviewed by a panel of inquiry appointed by the National President, with proper verification, written reports, and continuous monitoring — so that your gift is handled with transparency and care.
